We began experimenting with making mead several years ago at home after previously making homemade wines as a hobby. To gauge how our flavors held up against more established mead makers we entered two of our meads in a national competition. After both won awards, our minds started turning. We knew we were on the right track and thought we should do something that had not been done before…bring the full experience of mead to Mississippi. We are proud to not only call it home, but also be able to produce meads using honey directly from our state. Queens Reward is a labor of love. We hope you enjoy every bottle, glass, and sip as much as we enjoy making them. – JERI CARTER
