Craving Mexican? Try El Sombrero!

Mexican food is one of those things I just crave. There are times when cheesy Mexican goodness is the only thing that will hit the spot. Nothing else will do.

It’s times such as these that I hightail it to El Sombrero.

ElSombrero-FajitaQuesadillaWhen you’re craving classic Mexican fare, El Sombrero’s food is what you’re after. From enchiladas to fajitas to tacos, the Mexican fare at El Sombrero is not only delicious but also it’s affordable, and quick to boot. Plus, there are multiple convenient locations in Mississippi!

My go-to menu item is the #37: the Quesadilla Fajita, which consists of a flour tortilla chock full of peppers, onions, tomatoes and your choice of fajita chicken or steak, grilled and topped with nacho cheese sauce (I told you it was cheesy goodness) and served with rice and refried beans.

Other house specialties to try are the Carne Picada, the Tacos al Carbon and the Steak Bravo, not to mention a frosty margarita (strawberry is my personal favorite) served in what I like to refer to as a “fish bowl” glass, of course.

The service is quick and easy, plus I can feed my entire family for under $30, which is one of the many reason we keep coming back to satisfy those last minute Mexican cravings.

I do love me some good Mexican food, and they never disappoint! Enchiladas are my favorite, accompanied by nachos with cheese and ground beef dip. Sweet tea puts out the fire!!
