Last week’s Clash in the Kitchen, held in Jackson at The Auditorium in Fondren, was a HUGE success! The food and music were great, all of the chefs did an exceptional job of being creative with potatoes, and the crowd was thoroughly entertained! Congrats to Chef Jay Parmegiani of ROCA Restaurant in Vicksburg for winning the Peoples’ Choice Award AND the Judges’ Award! Here is a recap of the night in photos. Enjoy!
The winning dish: A dessert potato! Chef Jay Parmegiani created a dessert potato to look like an actual baked potato. The body of this dessert was a potato cake, with shavings of mint and sweet potato to look like toppings. The best part? The sour cream ice cream!
